3 Melville Crescent is in the north corner of the 'diamond' around the statute half way along Melville Street, see detailed map above.
Transport links:
Metered car parking is available on the streets near the office (max stay 4 hours) but also please see LEZ section below.
A significant number of buses stop at Shandwick Place, including numbers 44, 25, 26, 31, 48, 33 & 3, which is only a few minutes walk away - for details of routes visit Lothian Buses website. A number of buses also stop on Queensferry Street (such as 19, 36, 37, 41 & 113) also only a few minutes walk away.
There is also a tram stop on Shandwick Place.
Haymarket train station is less than 10 minutes walk away.
Low Emission Zone (LEZ)
Finally we highlight that our Melville Crescent office is just inside the City of Edinburgh Council's Low Emission Zone (LEZ) which could impact if you are driving to the office. The LEZ zone restrictions start on 1 June 2024 - see full details here to check whether your vehicle is impacted: https://www.edinburgh.gov.uk/homepage/10503/low-emission-zone.
Please note that Chester Street & Drumsheugh Gardens are just around the corner from our office & are just outside the zone so I suggest if your vehicle doesn't meet the LEZ requirements that you park just outside the LEZ and walk around the corner to our office.
Also there are public realm works being undertaken for around 9 months starting on 22/4/24 which will cause the road to be closed /roadworks directly outside our office. Parking spaces at the office front door will be removed. The office will remain open & accessable throughout however you will need to park slightly further away than currently.
